Meet the Blogger:
Hello, and welcome to my corner of the internet. My name is Maddie.
I graduated with my BA in English in 2023, and I’m currently based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Although I mostly analyzed dense medieval poetry and plays in college, lighthearted short-form written content is my favorite to write! This blog is a space where I explore topics like: managing ADHD as a twentysomething-year-old woman, the media I’m consuming (books, movies, and music), fashion & beauty trends, and more.
Why “Pink Room?” As a little girl, I shared a pink bedroom with my younger sister. My mom and her sisters also shared a pink room. To me, a pink room is a place where girls are free to be their authentic selves without judgement, and where girliness abounds. My goal for this blog is to create an online space that captures some of that magic. Eventually, I’d love to host other female writers on here, and help make their opinions heard.
